Privacy Policy

IELTS TIME collects only what's needed to run the site and respond to you personally — this is a short, honest explanation of what that is, not a long legal document.

What's collected

  • Your email address, if you provide it — for example, when completing the IELTS Diagnosis, reaching out about a product, or booking the IELTS Strategy Consultation.
  • Your responses to the Placement Assessment and Diagnosis, used to calculate and show you your result.
  • If you complete the Diagnosis and provide your email, that email — along with your estimated CEFR level, confidence level, target band, and diagnosis profile — may be stored in Kit (ConvertKit), the email service IELTS TIME uses to send emails.
  • If you buy a digital product from the Shop, a purchase record — the item, price, order status, and the name and email address PayPal provides for that transaction — so the purchase can be verified, your download link can be sent and resent if needed, and your confirmation email can be addressed to you personally.

Payments

Paid products are checked out through PayPal. Your card or PayPal account details are entered directly with PayPal and never pass through or get stored on this site — IELTS TIME only receives confirmation that a payment went through, the amount, and the email address PayPal supplies for that transaction.

Why: to deliver your diagnosis result and related information by email, to send relevant IELTS tips and resources, to let you know about products or consultations that match your result, to respond to your questions, and to understand which parts of the site are actually helping students so it can be improved over time.

Your information is not sold. Kit is only used to send you the emails described above — it doesn't independently market to you or pass your details on to anyone else.

Analytics: this site doesn't currently run any third-party analytics or ad-tracking tool. If that changes, this page will be updated to say exactly what's added and why.
