About
Why IELTS TIME exists
I know how it feels to learn another language. I know how it feels to look at a band score and not understand what it wants from you.
We know your frustration. IELTS does not have to be difficult. It often feels difficult because there are few teachers and professionals who really know how to show students what to do and where to start.
IELTS TIME is here to save you time and money and to make IELTS easy. The free IELTS Check-up finds what is really holding your score back, so you study the right things first and stop wasting weeks on practice that does not help.
My teaching
I started teaching around 15 years ago. I taught young learners and adults, from beginners to advanced, and prepared students for IELTS and other exams. I later became head of training at two companies, where I planned lessons, prepared materials and observed and trained other teachers. I also ran teacher training courses. Since 2019 I have taught IELTS and General English full time.
My training
I never stopped studying. I completed an MA in English Language Teaching, then CELTA with Grade A, and in 2022 I passed DELTA Modules 2 and 3 with Merit and finished Train the Trainer, all with the University of Cambridge. I have also taken many British Council courses on teaching speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, and an IELTS teacher training programme.
How I work
All of this taught me one thing: first find out exactly what is in the way, then decide what to fix. That is how I work in the classroom, and this website gives students anywhere that same starting point.
From YouTube to this website
I started my YouTube channel in 2023 to save time making videos for my students, especially those who were absent. I posted the lessons for them to watch. Slowly the channel grew, and now I have viewers from more than 30 countries, which is amazing! I am not as active on the channel as I used to be, but creating this website is the project I have always wanted to build, because it is a more stable place to help students.
15+ years of IELTS teaching experience. CELTA. DELTA. MA in English Language Teaching. Trusted by students in 23+ countries.
